Psycholgist – Niddrie
Jess Green is a Psychologist & clinical registrar based out of Niddrie office. She works with children, adolescents, adults and families. She is experienced in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a range of other evidence-based therapies including interpersonal therapy, ACT and mindfulness. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
Jess has a particular interest in working with both women and men with eating disorders, and those who experience anxiety. She has worked at The Monash Health Butterfly Day Program (a specialist eating disorder program) and has published research in the eating disorders area. Jess has also worked within the Child and Family Psychology Clinic at The Royal Children’s Hospital. She also has experience working with people who experience depression, post-natal depression or parenting difficulties.
Jess has a warm, friendly and approachable manner and works creatively and collaboratively with her clients to provide evidence-based treatment that is tailored to meet their specific needs. Jess believes that each person has a valued contribution to make and an important story to tell.
Jess works with clients under various Medicare schemes, TAC, WorkSafe, Comcare and other third party funding bodies. Private health insurance rebates may also be available to you.
